Velvet had its moment last year but it has now been replaced by another 70’s favourite – corduroy! Despite their rigid and usually unsexy characteristics, fashion bloggers are making this material look really cool, really lovable and really stylish.
I couldn’t resist this trend after seeing H&M’s autumnal edit and I totally fell in love with these trousers in the pictures. While they might not be made from the sexiest fabric, they surely will keep you warm and in style – making them the perfect transitioning piece for your seasonal wardrobe. These one are actually quite flattering as their boot-cut makes your legs look longer. I paired them with a light cream jumper and layered necklace as it wasn’t too cold that day, but you can make it even more autumn / winter appropriate by just adding a coat.
Since it has become a big trend on social media, I decided to compile my favourite pieces of this trend as I feel this one will stick around for a while . . . My absolute favourites would have to be the trousers and the blazers – but I have also linked some cute skirts, dresses and dungarees. Happy shopping 🙂
